Giving Back to MDA, Kid One

Jon participated in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Jail Bail Fundraiser and was able to raise $1,641.00 for the event.  All who contributed on Jon's behalf are greatly appreciated.

Jon Lewis, Henry Ware, and Chris Hughes teamed up to play in the JRAG Charity Golf Classic benefiting Kid One Transport System.  Their team placed third in the event which raised funds for one of the Lewis, Feldman, Lehane & McAtee staples, Kid One.  Kid One Transport System is a non-profit organization delivering free transportation to thousands of disadvantaged children and expectant mothers in need of better health.  500,000 children and expectant mothers in Alabama live in a home with little or no transportation.  They cannot get to the doctor for prenatal care, preventative care or even life-saving procedures such as chemotherapy, surgeries and dialysis.  Kid One has provided over 100,000 free rides to medical, dental, mental and prenatal care for children and expectant mothers in Alabama since 1997.  Just $35 buys a ride for one child to the care he or she needs.  Contributions can be made on Kid One Transport's web site.
